Notes:
I did this in Paint Shop Pro, but it works in Photoshop as well. =)
The only difference is that burn in PSP is color burn in Photoshop. Yayz.
Please remember that the picture won't look quite amazing at every step, but some of the last steps will even out some extreme contrast and such, haha.
Also, please use your own picture! It may be best to use one with about the same lighting for it to look the best, otherwise mess with the settings I give you to make your specific picture look even better.
01. So first off crop your base to the way you want it, it works for icons too. I also sharpened mine at about 50%.
02. Duplicate the base and set it to Screen at 50%.
03. Duplicate the base again and set it to Overlay at 63%.
04. Make a new Raster Layer, set it to Burn at 34% and fill it with #f2dee9.
05. Make a new Raster Layer, set it to Exclusion at 17% and fill it with #000040.
06. Make a new Raster Layer, set it to Exclusion at 17% and fill it with #761214.
And you're done! ;o
Add text, brushes, etc etc. We have plenty. -nudgenudgewinkwink-
er, we will. xD -coughcough-
