this is used in the gimp, but i think it's easily transferable to psp and photoshop. if seperate tutorials are really needed i'll consider making them. ;p
01. so i started off with this and this
02. then i overlapped them so it looked something like this
03. if you know how to create a brush, skip to step 5 and choose those settings. =) click on the eraser tool and go to the "brush selection dialog". a picture of where that's located is shown here
04. once you're there, make a new brush. to do that click on the blank page on the bottom left of the palette.
05. now choose these settings. basically make the radius around 100-200, and the hardness 0.
05. now select the top picture and drag the eraser down the edge, starting like so... and you'll get something like this!
